We are a team of parent volunteers that are dedicated to making the team experience rewarding for our swimmers.  It is only with the help of parent volunteers, that we can guarantee a successful experience for our swimmers.  Please be available to volunteer and assist as needed throughout the season.  Events such as our home meets will require many volunteers.  There are needs for about 20-25 parents at each home meet.

We also always welcome interest in serving as a GLSC board member if you would like to be more involved.   We have a typical board structure, with a President, Vice President, Treasure, and Secretary.  There are also Chair people for Spirit Wear, Internet, Middle School Team, Meet entry, Fund Raising, and Coaches and several at large positions.   It does not require a huge time commitment beyond what being the parent of a GLSC swimmer.  There are monthly board meetings, historicly the third Wednesday of the month, or as needed, and working at "session/season" registrations.
